Cefadus-CV is a pediatric dry syrup combining Cefpodoxime Proxetil, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic, and Potassium Clavulanate, a β-lactamase inhibitor. This formulation provides broad-spectrum antibacterial activity, even against resistant pathogens, ensuring faster and more effective treatment for common pediatric infections.

Composition (per 5ml after reconstitution):

• Cefpodoxime Proxetil I.P. equivalent to Cefpodoxime 50mg
• Clavulanic Acid (as Potassium Clavulanate) 31.25mg

Therapeutic Indications:

• Cefadus-CV is indicated in pediatric patients for the treatment of:Upper and lower respiratory tract infections
• Acute otitis media
• Skin and soft tissue infections
• Urinary tract infections
• Tonsillitis and pharyngitis

Dosage & Administration:

• Administer as per physician’s guidance based on the child’s weight and infection severity.
• Reconstitute with freshly boiled and cooled water to the marked level.
• Shake well before each use.
• Use within 7 days of reconstitution and store in a refrigerator.
